In a recent test of the DALI Euphonia MS5 in a surround set-up with RS3, CS4 and AS2, the Euphonia once again prooved itself to be.... No, don't take our word for it, but read these statements from the test in the Swedish magazine "HemmaBio":

Dali Euphonia is quite simply – when driven by the right electronics – one helluva great loudspeaker system!

The bottom end is clearly among the finest I have heard in this price range. It is subterranean, tight and fast with amazing articulation.

Most impressive is how effortless and liquid the bass is. It pulses with truly unbelievable control and lends music all the foundation your heart could ever desire. It will shake the inner organs dangerously close to the threshold of pain. Absolutely first-class bass!

It is right up there with the finest we have ever heard in the upper range. The highs are extended and airy with incredible sparkle, dynamics and tonal color. Undeniably first class performance. We tip our hats and bow in the presence of some of the finest high frequencies we have ever heard.

The resolution of fine detail is the finest I have ever heard! People always go on about spatial realism and how well a system reproduces every nook and cranny. Summing up, it is clear that this is the finest system that I have heard so far. It is very difficult, not to say impossible, to find any obvious weaknesses. It is a great pleasure to listen to, with music in stereo or movies or concerts.

The highlight of the Euphonia series. Impressive-looking and impressive-sounding. Equipped with two 8” woofers in a dual chamber bass reflex enclosure with low resonance all-metal reflex tubes, 6.5” midrange unit and the unique combination of the fabulous DALI Super ribbon tweeter and a 1” soft dome tweeter, the MS5 is a powerful unit made for high-end stereo and surround. In this case, the Euphonia module has been turned upside down, and it is placed between the midrange and the dual woofers. This has been done to optimise integration between the units and to permit listening close to this tall speaker. The speaker is equipped with hard-wired hand assembled crossover with tri-wiring option and vice grip terminals. Absolute zero mechanical grounded polymer granite base with integrated spikes. The MS5 is an orgy of technical solutions, fine-tuned to meet the demands from the most critical listeners in the world. This is a technological tour de force.

The DALI MegaLine - quite possibly the finest loudspeaker system in the world - is essentially a two-way loudspeaker, based on a vertical array of bass/midrange units alongside a second array consisting of DALI¡¯s exclusive planar dipole tweeters. Each array is configured to operate as a single "virtual driver" extending from floor to ceiling. DALI MegaLine is a stacked modular design, based on three identical modules per channel for critical listening. Ceiling height permitting, one or two additional modules may be used. The DALI MegaLine system requires two identical stereo amplifiers (or four identical monoblocks).
